Arlington Michigan Display

The Veterans For Peace Chapter 93 Arlington Michigan display honors the 231 Michigan soldiers who lost their lives in the Iraq and Afghan wars. This display serves multiple purposes:

  • Honor: Paying tribute to those who have fallen.

  • Grieve: Providing a place for families and friends to mourn.

  • Educate: Raising public awareness about the costs of war.

  • Support: Highlighting the needs of returning veterans.

Memorial Day Exhibit

  • Location: Grand Circus Park, Downtown Detroit

  • Co-sponsors: Veterans For Peace Chapter 74 and the Swords Into Plowshares Peace Center & Gallery

  • Time: 11am to 5pm

Veterans/Armistice Day Exhibit

  • Location: Veterans Park, Ann Arbor (SW corner near Maple and Jackson Roads)

  • Parking: Veterans Memorial Ice Arena parking lot (2150 Jackson Avenue, Ann Arbor, MI 48103)

  • Time: 11am to 5pm

  • Special Event: Peace ceremony at 11am, commemorating Armistice Day, 1918.
